Etisalat & MTN Do Not Disturb (DND) Causes Harm To Your Sim - See Reasons!

Etisalat and mtn brought out a new feature called the DND which the full meaning is DO NOT DISTURB so this feature is to stop unwanted or unsolicited messages and in compliance with NCC directive to give customers option to either subscribe or unsubscribe from Unsolicited SMS messages which they send to s*cam their customers. So I have find out, the main hidden or secret truth of this feature which is the bad side if it and am going to share it out to the blazers.

Elroy Chibex discovered this hidden truth about the Do Not Stop which might us negatively, if being activated. So mtn statement goes like this below for the do not disturb feature:
"The Do-Not-Disturb service allows MTN customers to opt out of receiving promotional messages for 3rd Party services (Bulk SMS, VAS promos, etc.)"
As you can see from what MTN said, once you opt out you won't be able to receive
Bulk SMS, and VAS (Value Added Service)
and promos from 3rd party services. This means those religious, school, organizations, community bulk SMS plans won't get to your line again which might be disastrous if the message is very important.
Mtn also asked another question which goed like this below:
"Are promotional messages for MTN services included in DND?NO. DND service will only be introduced for 3rd party services e.g. VAS, Bulk SMS etc" .
I hope you have understand? This means that when you disable or deactivate the do not disturb feature, you will only disabled the 3rd party partners from sending you any message but your mtn and Etisalat won't be deactivated and they will keep on blasting your you unsolicited messages. This surely means the feature is not as it seems.
